Sorry it's been so long since we posted. It's not for lack of progress, but because we've been so busy moving forward. The 6 month survivorship education workshop series that ended in June was a real success. We saw participation grow each month. The final event in the series was an open forum, where all past presenters came together to answer questions from survivors. We talked about everything from the impact of flying on lymphedema to late effects of chemotherapy to the importance of incorporating physical activity and dietary changes into everyday choices. We'll offer the series again starting next January.
We're working on finishing up the survivorship program kit and hope to have it completed this Fall. We are in discussions about the prospect of marketing the kit and putting any proceeds toward the Survivorship Program. If we're able to do this, we'll post a link to the site where the kit will be made available.
