The Kit Debuts in Phoenix

The AONN Conference in Phoenix was wonderful! We were able to meet with about 140 attendees and received a very positive response to the Kit. Probably 90-95% of the nurses we talked with were either just beginning to put their survivorship program together or had not started yet. But everyone was aware that they needed to develop a formal program. I would say that most cancer centers just starting out are focusing on the two survivorship-related ACoS standards - provision of a care plan and psychosocial distress screening. We have several templates in our Kit that address those standards, plus a range of program elements to round out survivorship services. If you haven't visited the website yet, take a few moments to to go www.pearlmansurvivorshipkit.com for more information on the Kit.

We're heading out to the ACCC conference in San Antonio next Wednesday, October 3rd. We'll be giving away a Kit to one lucky attendee. If you're going to the conference, please stop by and see us at Booth #316 and register to win a free Kit!
